HTC U23 Pro was introduced focusing on Metaverse

HTC finally unveiled the HTC U23 Pro. This phone has remarkable specifications and is launched with the aim of Viverse Metaverse.

This phone uses a 6.7-inch OLED display with FullHD+ resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, and uses Victos Gorilla Glass as protection. There is a 32-megapixel selfie camera inside the central cavity, but there is no sign of a fingerprint sensor under the display. This sensor is integrated with the power button on the right edge of the phone.

On the back panel of the phone, there is a rectangular camera module that has one flash and four cameras. These cameras include a 108-megapixel main camera with optical image stabilization, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera, a 5-megapixel macro camera, and a 2-megapixel depth camera.

Inside this phone, a Snapdragon 7 generation 1 chip is used, along with 12.8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of internal memory. There is also a microSD card slot to increase the internal memory and the phone software is Android 13.

The HTC U23 Pro comes pre-installed with the VIVERSE app that works with the VIVE XR Elite mixed reality headset. The U23 Pro also supports the IP67 water and dust resistance standard and is powered by a 4600mAh battery with 30W wired charging and 15W wireless charging. This phone also supports reverse wireless charging.

Other specifications of the U23 Pro include 5G network support, Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, USB-C port, 3.5mm audio jack and NFC.

Price and delivery time

This phone is available in two colors and two combinations of 256.8 GB and 12.256 GB memory, which are priced at $550 and $585, respectively. The U23 Pro is available in Taiwan via HTC’s official website, and it remains to be seen if it will be available in other countries as well.
