Huawei introduced the MateBook E 2023 tablet with an OLED display




Huawei unveiled the new MateBook E 2023 tablet. According to its specifications, this tablet will be a serious competitor of Microsoft’s Surface Pro.

Specifications of Huawei MateBook E 2023

This tablet uses a 12.6-inch OLED display with a refresh rate of 120 Hz and has a 2-in-1 design. Its processing tasks are handled by Intel U series Alderlike chips, which are upgraded versions of previous models. However, the MateBook E 2023 does not use Intel’s new 13th generation Raptorlic U series processors, such as the Core i5-1335U, and instead uses the 12th generation Core i5-1230U and Core i7-1260U chips.

This tablet offers up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal memory and is equipped with Iris Xe Graphics iGPU series graphics processors. The display of this device has a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and an aspect ratio of 16:10, which is no different from the MateBook E 2022 model. However, its refresh rate has been increased to 120 Hz.

The new Huawei tablet supplies its energy from a 42 watt-hour battery and uses a 10.8 watt-hour battery in its side keyboard. This keyboard supports Bluetooth connectivity, which is an important improvement over Microsoft’s Surface Pro 9.

Price and delivery time

The tablet is priced at 7,499 yuan ($1,068) in China for the 512/16 GB version, and the 16 GB/1 TB version will be priced at 7,999 yuan ($1,137). Huawei is expected to provide more information about the global release of this tablet soon.
