Saipa has made the new GX variant available with upgrades in features and powertrains for the Saina sedan in the second phase of its recently launched integrated car sales plan. GX is considered the newest type of this Saipa product after types such as EX, SX, SR, Plus, S and automatic. More precisely, the S version of the Saina arrived with minor updates in 2019 as a successor to the previous version of the Saina, and now the GX is launched as an even newer model. Exterior and interior design
As mentioned, the changes of the GX type are limited to the powertrain and features and equipment, and this type has not had a significant change in the exterior design compared to its predecessor, the S. As a result, elements such as the grille with chrome trim and the black panel at the bottom of the bumper can still be seen in the front view, and the different black design of the bumper can be seen in the rear view. Only in Saina GX, aluminum rims and smoked windows and rear glass are used, which we have not seen before in other versions.
The interior of Saina GX has remained untouched compared to before, and the buyers of this car will still have the same Saipa dashboard in front of them; The same simple dashboard that Saina shares with other products like Quick. This is while in the past when Saipa introduced Saina S, it announced its plan to release another version of Saina called G with a new central console and round air vents in the cabin along with more facilities and equipment.
Technical specifications of Saina GX
Saina GX has an upgraded version of the 1.5-liter 4-cylinder M15 engine under its hood. The power and torque produced by this engine have increased slightly compared to the previous engine. While the previous engine produced a total of 87 horsepower and 130 Nm of torque, this upgraded engine can now produce 90 horsepower and 137 Nm of torque. Of course, more torque is produced at lower engine speed for this Saipa car. One of the most important updates made in the aforementioned engine is the implementation of the variable valve timing system (VVT-i), which increases the efficiency of the engine.
The 4-cylinder Saina GX engine transmits its power to the front axle through a 5-speed manual transmission. Also, according to official information, it consumes 6.9 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers. In general, the changes of this type of Saipa sedan in terms of driving forces are summarized in these cases, and a slight increase in output and better torque production will be the only improvements of this engine compared to its previous version.
