Chinese brand iQOO introduced its latest phone called iQOO Neo8 Pro. In addition to this phone, this brand has also unveiled the Neo8 model and TWS Air Pro wireless earbuds. Stay with us to learn more about the specifications of the two new iQOO phones.
Specifications of the iQOO Neo8 series
Neo8 phone is equipped with Snapdragon 8 Plus 1st generation chip and Neo8 Pro phone is equipped with Dimension 9200 Plus processor. This processor will have a main Cortex-X3 core with a clock speed of 3.35 GHz, three Cortex-A715 cores with a speed of 3 GHz and four Cortex-A510 cores with a frequency of 2 GHz. The new MediaTek chip uses the ARM Immortalis G715 graphics processing unit and it performed better than the Snapdragon 8 generation 2 in Geekbench 6.
Dimension 9200 Plus supports Wi-Fi 7 connection and up to 16 GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512 GB of UFS 4.0 memory. Also, a vapor chamber cooling system with an area of 5002 square millimeters is used inside the Pro model. The standard model uses up to 16 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512 GB of UFS 3.1 internal storage along with the Snapdragon 8 Plus 1st generation chip.
Both new iQOO phones are equipped with an AMOLED display with a resolution of 1260 x 2800 pixels and a refresh rate of 144 Hz. The Neo8 Pro model uses a 50-megapixel main camera with a Sony IMX 866 sensor and optical image stabilization and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera on its back panel, while the Neo8 model uses a 50-megapixel main camera with a Samsung GN5 sensor and optical image stabilization. It uses a 2-megapixel depth camera.
These phones run OriginOS 3 based on Android 13 in the software section and get their energy from a 5000 mAh battery with a charging capacity of 100 watts.
Price and delivery time
The price of the iQOO Neo 8 starts from 2,299 yuan ($325) for the 256/12 GB version and goes up to 2,899 yuan ($410) for the 512/16 GB version.
The iQOO Neo 8 Pro is offered at a basic price of 3,399 yuan ($440), and the price of the 16/512GB version is 3,399 yuan ($482). These phones will be available in red, green and black colors from June 10th.
