The secretary of the Iranian Automobile Manufacturers Association said that private automobile manufacturers are against the prices of the Competition Council and will not implement them.
Nematbakhsh, the secretary of the Iranian Automobile Manufacturers Association, announced that currently none of the private sector automobile manufacturers have and will not comply with the prices announced by the Competition Council, and said that the private sector automobile manufacturers are going to hold a meeting with the Competition Council in this regard.
The opposition of private car manufacturers to the prices of the Competition Council
The secretary of the Iranian Automobile Manufacturers Association further stated that according to the pricing methods of the Competition Council, Iran Khodro and Saipa are allowed to increase the price of products by 29 percent, and they are doing so, but their sales are still at a loss. The managers of Iran Khodro and Saipa are chosen by the Ministry of Security and therefore they apply these things, but the private sector car manufacturers will stop their activities in case of loss.
The secretary of the Iranian Automobile Manufacturers Association continued to emphasize that if private automobile manufacturers face losses, they will stop production, and the government cannot order them to sell their products at a loss.
Nematbakhsh added that the announced prices of the competition council were calculated according to 28 thousand and 500 tomans dollars, but the documents indicate that the car manufacturers produced products with more than 45 thousand tomans dollars. Therefore, the Competition Council must admit its mistake and say that the prices were calculated with 28 thousand 500 Tomans dollars. Of course, accepting this mistake requires courage, which unfortunately does not exist.
The secretary of the Iranian Automobile Manufacturers Association emphasized that the prices were calculated according to the formula of the support organization and based on the exploitation license; For example, if the company license is 100,000 cars, the costs are divided by 100,000; While the car maker could not produce more due to the embargo and currency problems, and for example produced 50,000 cars, but the support organization did not accept this issue and calculated it according to the same 100,000 cars.
In the end, Nematbakhsh pointed out that the car manufacturers have differences with this method of calculation, which caused the new prices to cause them losses. We hope that in the new meeting of automobile manufacturers with the Competition Council, evidence of the loss of automobile manufacturers will also be presented.
