On the morning of Saturday 30th of May 1402, the closing ceremony of the 10th edition of Iran Public Relations Stars Festival and the commemoration of the National Public Relations Day was held. Farshad Mehdipour, as the press and information deputy of the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance, as well as a number of Iranian and international communication activists, were present at this ceremony, which was held at the same time as the Public Relations Week at the Shahid Ghandi Conference Hall of the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. In addition, the message of the president of the International Public Relations Association known as IPRA was also read in this ceremony.

In the 10th Iran Public Relations Stars Festival, the special award “National Communication Star of Senior Manager” was awarded to Dr. Bijan Abbasi Arend, CEO of Irancell, by the vote of the jury and by obtaining the most necessary points from the expert evaluations. This special award has been given to the CEO of Irancell due to his attitude and supportive performance in the communication field of the sub-category and outstanding communication personality. In addition, the special award of “Iran’s Best Digital Public Relations” was awarded to Irancell for its achievements in the field of electronic and network communications and excellence in digital public relations for the third year in a row.

In a part of this ceremony, the message of the president of the International Public Relations Association known as IPRA, Dr. Anne Garrett Abarzova, was read. In this message, he stated that public relations is a decision-making management method that is responsible for creating relationships and benefits between organizations and their audiences based on sending information through ethical and reliable communication methods. In the continuation of this message, Dr. Anne Garrett Abarzova stated that the realization of the above definition, which emphasizes the elements of decision-making, the creation of beneficial two-way relations, information and ethics, when it is possible for public relations to play a role in the form and image of communication management; Otherwise, public relations will be reduced to the position of communication executive and cannot achieve the desired position of this profession.

As it was said, the special award of the national communication star of the senior manager in the presentation of the winners of the 10th Iran Public Relations Stars Festival was awarded to Dr. Bijan Abbasi Arend, the CEO of Irancell, with the vote of the jury and the most points from the expert evaluations.
