The Notting Phone 2 chip will be Snapdragon 8 Plus 1st generation




Carl Pai, the CEO of Nutting, officially confirmed that the Nutting Phone 2 will use the Snapdragon 8 Plus 1st generation chip. This phone is going to be introduced this summer.

In the past months, there have been many rumors about the Notting Phone 2 processor, and now Carl Pai has put an end to all these rumors and mentioned Snapdragon 8 Plus 1st generation as the chip of this phone. This chip will have a much better performance compared to the Snapdragon 778G+ processor of the Notting Phone 1; So that the speed of opening the application will be twice as fast and its overall performance will be 80% better. Noting Phone 2 will also have significant improvements in other areas such as battery life, communication and cameras. It is said that this phone supports RAW HDR format and 4K video recording at 60 frames per second.

In his tweet, Pai did not mention whether the Snapdragon 8 Plus of the 1st generation of the Notting Phone 2 will be an underclocked version with a speed of 3 GHz or the original version with a clock speed of 3.2 GHz. Although this chip is a year old, it is still able to provide powerful performance.

Meanwhile, Nutting says the Phone 2 won’t see a significant price increase and will be quite affordable despite using a high-end Snapdragon 8 Series chip.

The company is expected to release more details about the Noting Phone 2 in the coming months. According to the Geekbench list of this phone, its software will be Android 13 and its RAM will be 12 GB. This phone will apparently use a 120 Hz AMOLED display and a 5000 mAh battery.
