Although Volkswagen is not known as a manufacturer of luxury products, the 2024 Touareg is close to its competitors from Mercedes-Benz and BMW in this segment. Volkswagen has managed to sell about 1.1 million units of this SUV in Europe from 2002 to 2022, which is in an average position in terms of sales.
Volkswagen produced and marketed the third generation Touareg for the first time in 2018, although its production continued. Although the previous model looks attractive, the designers considered a minor facelift for the 2024 model, which is not very satisfactory.
