If you care about the design and appearance of gadgets, probably Beats Studio Buds Plus can attract your attention. Studio Buds Plus has just been launched for $170 and looks like an attractive wireless earbud. This earbud has a semi-transparent design that reminds us of Notting Air 1 and 2 to some extent.
You probably know that Beats is now a subsidiary of Apple. In this way, Studio Buds Plus can be an attractive option next to AirPods Pro 2. This AirPods still lacks wireless charging capabilities, but according to Bates, 95% of the internal parts of the AirPods are new. The microphones are now 3 times larger and the active noise cancellation capability has also improved. The battery capacity of the case has increased by 50% and each earbud has improved by 16% compared to the previous generation.
Beats Studio Buds Plus can play music for up to 6 hours with active ANC and up to 9 hours without ANC. The AirPods case will add between 18 and 27 hours to this amount. These earbuds are also resistant to sweat and minor water splashes with the IPX4 standard.
One advantage of these earbuds over AirPods is the use of a USB-C port instead of Apple’s outdated Lightning port. However, according to preliminary reviews, the noise canceling of this model is not at the level of AirPods Pro. However, Bates says that the ANC performance of this model is 1.6 times better than the previous model and the transparency performance is also 2 times better.
Beats Studio Buds Plus comes with 4 different sizes of silicone eartips in the box. Airbud control is also done with touch gestures, and thanks to the Apple chip, this earbud is quickly paired with an iPhone, and you can use the Find My feature to find it.
